| About: | With authentic Vietnamese dishes and modest prices, this casual restaurant attracts professionals, students and families alike. Start with spring and summer rolls, but save room for generous portions. Soups come with enough garnish to qualify as a salad in most places. You cannot go wrong with any of the rice noodle bowls, and the lemongrass chicken also comes highly recommended. Particularly good sweet tea. Waitstaff would never be so presumptuous to present the bill unsolicited, so ask for it when finished. |

This is Vietnamese dining as good as I've experienced from San Diego to New Orleans to New Haven. Nothing fancy here...it's a homey place with food that's fresh, unpretentious and quite delicious!!!
If you haven't tried Vietnamese food, this is a very good place to first experience this healthy and flavorful cuisine.
Good Stuff!: I live in Atlanta, and will travel to Birmingham just to eat here! I love the Bun I think it is number 21 or 22 on the menu..it is beef wrapped around onion...it is great!
Vietnemese!: Finally, after being in Birmingham, AL for just over a year that I found a Vietnemese restaurant that is excellent. And, this place has more choices than I know what to do with.
With an extensive menu, excelleting food, and all at a low cost, this is THE place to go to get a sandwich, pho, or any number of other wonderful entrees.
Check it out, and no, there is NO cat in the food.
