The service at this resturant has been going down hill. I use to go here alot but will no longer. If you are looking for consistency look else where
My expectations when going out are 1. Good Food 2. Hot Food 3. Good service. I used to be a regular here however lately the service has been getting increasingly worse. My last experience was so bad I will never go back. My order was a to-go order so I placed it over the phone. I get the same exact thing every time I go. A shredded beef chimichanga with the sauce on the side and white cheese on top. The owner of the place took my order down wrong. He gave me chicken instead of beef. When the food was at home and I realized that they took the order down incorrectly I contacted them. The owner tried to blame me for giving him the wrong information to start with. At the time he didnÂt realize that I have ordered the same dish for 2 years! I never order chicken. I donÂt eat chicken when I eat out ever because to me it tastes different than fresh cooked from home. It was impossible for me to tell him chicken. After arguing with him about this for some time he realized that it was not me that made the mistake he went on to blame my boyfriend for not realizing their mistake when he picked up the food. He refused to take responsibility for writing the order down wrong. I told him that if he remade both dishes we would call it good even though it would take another 30 minute drive to get the correct order. ( when paying $35.00 for a meal both meals should be hot) Since we live out of town to go back into town and back would have left the one meal sitting for over 45 minutes I thought that was a reasonable request. The owner refused. He was rude, arrogant, insulting, unprofessional and just plain bad business. I went to this place once a week for a couple years and he treated me as such. With an average of 40 plus dollars per meal with my kids 4x a month he just threw away about $2,000 a year. If you are looking for a good Mexican meal with good service and nice atmosphere check out LaCasita. You will be more satisfied. Taste wise the fajita's are much better at LaCasita.
I thought this was going to be my new favorite, since I love Mexican and this one is supposed to be more authentic than the others in town. But we went on a busy Saturday evening and ended up with poor service, and so-so food. Atmosphere was nice.
